A Summer Wedding the Family Farm: Molly & Jeff

post filed in:

Wedding

Molly & Jeff got married this past weekend on the family farm and their day was truly perfect. 🙂 From getting ready in the morning with some “Lame-aide” to the couples packed dance floor and yard games in the evening. Every detail was carefully thought through and it was beautiful.

While there were so many wonderful parts to Molly & Jeff’s wedding, I wanted to share just the top five that came to mind. A Wedding Wednesday tradition…

#5. Kicking us off at number five, the amazing property that Molly & Jeff got married at! When Molly first told me they were going to get married at their cousin’s farm, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, as soon as I pulled up in the morning, I knew it was going to be a fun day. 🙂

I think my two favorite parts of the property were the small orchard and the stunningly tall pines!

On top of all the beautiful locations on site, we also got to go to the neighbors property for photos! The lake was the perfect addition to photos. Molly & Jeff, THANK YOU so much for being game to explore with us! I love how these shots turned out. 🙂

#4. Not only were the grounds beautiful, but the neighbors were also a lot of fun! One couple made sure to drop off a surprise gift for Molly & Jeff’s first wedding anniversary. Definitely a first and something everyone loved. 🙂

#3. The Nuremberg Wedding Cup tradition. I think one of my favorite things about weddings is getting to experience all the different traditions from different families and cultures.

After cake cutting, Molly & Jeff explained the German tradition of both the Bride & Groom drinking out of the cup at the same time and where the tradition originated. The best part? Molly & Jeff were just one of MANY couples that have used this cup in the family. 🙂

#2. The couples ceremony exit with bubbles! Guests were on top of it! As soon as the couple shared their first kiss, bubbles started floating everywhere and the photos… I’ll let you scroll to check it out. 😉

#1. When Molly & Jeff shared their first look. These get me every, single, time. 🙂 Getting to see each other for the first time on your wedding day is so special and this first look was no different. I’m so glad these two set aside time for this. It was perfect. 🙂

Bonus! Catching up with Watson Bride Alyssa and her husband Tim! It’s truly the best when I get to see my couples again. Thanks for sending Molly & Jeff our way. 🙂
