An Associate Wedding by Cassie at Cantigny Park: Michelle & Ruben

What a special privilege it was for Cassie & the RWP team to capture Michelle & Ruben’s wedding! These two are so intentional with each other and the entire day was spilling over with joy and love! The autumn colors were shining brilliantly for them as they celebrated their precious love for each other.

There were so many beautiful moments all throughout this special day, but here are Cassie’s top three…

1. The Florals  
The florals at Michelle and Ruben’s wedding were nothing short of breathtaking! With vibrant colors and an emphasis on shades of purple— the couple’s signature hue— the floral arrangements perfectly complemented the elegant details of their day. From the beautiful church ceremony to the reception at *Le Jardin* at Cantigny Park, the florals tied everything together in the most stunning way.

2. A Sentimental Toast
One of the sweetest moments of the day was right before we left the hotel to head to Cantigny. Ruben and his brother shared a special toast with tequila that had been gifted to him by his grandfather before he passed away. It was an intimate, heartfelt moment that beautifully honored Ruben’s grandfather and added a personal touch to their day.

3. Golden Hour in the Rose Garden
The bride and groom portraits in the rose garden at Cantigny were absolutely glorious! We caught the perfect moment just as the sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the garden. As I captured Michelle and Ruben in this stunning light, I just knew these would be some of my all-time favorite portraits. The combination of the gorgeous setting, the warm light, and their joy made for truly magical photos.
