A Spring Engagement at Cantigny Park- Christine & Jared

There’s just something about April at Cantigny… the start of spring, everything beginning to bloom, and that soft, golden light that makes everything feel a little extra magical. Christine and Jared’s engagement session was the perfect reflection of that season. Joyful, relaxed, and full of anticipation for everything ahead.

Their story took such a sweet turn this past January when Jared proposed during a cruise… talk about a moment straight out of a movie. Christine shared that it was absolutely perfect, and you can just feel that excitement carrying into this next season of their lives together.

As they plan their destination wedding in Punta Cana, they knew they wanted to capture this season close to home… something meaningful they could use for their invitations as they invite loved ones into such a special celebration. And Cantigny couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. Between the gardens, the open spaces, and those early spring colors, it gave us the dreamiest backdrop to tell their story.

One of my favorite parts of this session was getting to see the heart of their family. This isn’t just the start of a marriage… it’s the continuation of a beautiful story they’re already building together, and it was such a joy to capture even a small glimpse of that.
