A Summer Wedding at Meson Sabika- Julia & Sam

Julia and Sam are MARRIED!! Getting to photograph their wedding day at Meson Sabika was truly so special. Ever since their engagement session, I’ve been looking forward to celebrating these two, and from the moment we arrived, there was such a fun excitement in the air.

Their day was also a perfect reminder that sometimes things just have a way of working out. With rain in the forecast for their 5:30 PM outdoor ceremony, we were watching the radar and trying to figure out the best plan when Julia mentioned that their invitations actually said 5:00 PM. It ended up being exactly what we needed! Their guests were already there, we shifted things around, and Julia and Sam got the beautiful outdoor Meson Sabika ceremony they had hoped for. Truly, the timing could not have worked out better!

There were SO many moments I loved from this day, but in keeping with tradition, here are my Top Three!

#3. Julia’s First Dance with Her Dad

Julia shared the sweetest first dance with her dad to the daughter version of “My Boy” by Elvie Shane. After getting to photograph their emotional first look earlier in the day, watching these two share another special moment together on the dance floor was so, so sweet.

#2. Sam’s Morgan Wallen Walkout Video

This was SUCH a fun surprise! Sam filmed his own Morgan Wallen-inspired walkout video right at Meson Sabika earlier that day. After the wedding party made their grand entrance, the video dropped, the lights came back on, and Julia and Sam made their entrance as husband and wife. Their guests LOVED it, and it was such a fun, uniquely-them way to kick off the reception. 10/10!

#1. Julia & Sam’s Choreographed First Dance

These two put in the practice, and WOW did it pay off! Spins, dips, they had it ALL. Julia and Sam looked incredible out on the dance floor, but what I loved most was how much their chemistry and love for each other came through. It was fun, romantic, and the perfect way to start celebrating their marriage together!

Julia and Sam, THANK YOU so much for having us! You two are truly the best, and I’m just so grateful we got to be there to capture this incredible day with you.
