Wedding Friday: Carrie & Greg

Working on this sneak peek has been so much fun for me! Carrie & Greg got married this past Saturday and not only was this a really fun wedding with new traditions I got to be a part of, but there were also some fun surprises throughout the reception. I had a hard time narrowing down the shots for this sneak peek!

Carrie & Greg first met at a Jewish event for young professionals. It didn’t take long for Carrie to realize she wanted to know more about Greg so she actually asked him out! They had their first date at La Fournette and go there each year on their anniversary to remember the day. 🙂 Some of their favorite things are cooking, yoga and traveling. All things they love to do together.

What I love most about Carrie & Greg though is how important family is to them. I could tell right away that Carrie & Greg’s siblings were much more than in-laws. They helped with so many things. From the engagement session as a body guard, thanks Jamie! To help with wedding planning, especially Kelly! They’ve been having sibling dates with Jamie, Kelly, Jordan, & Zach for years. They even planned a special surprise just for Carrie during their reception. You’ll have to scroll down to see what happened. 😉

I think my favorite memory from the day though was some of the Jewish traditions I got to be a part of. I loved how everyone danced as soon as the reception started, especially when they lifted the Bride & Groom! Everything was so fast, but they joy was unmistakable and I’m so glad I got to capture it. 🙂
