Wedding Wednesday: Gina & Matt

This past Saturday, Blake and I got to head out and shoot Gina & Matt’s wedding. If you remember correctly, it rained all day Saturday, but that didn’t stop us from having a fun time with this couple and it certainly didn’t stop us from getting some fun shots. 🙂

I think my favorite part of the day was running around downtown Downers Grove with Gina & Matt, but I’ll let you scroll to see the excitement of the day. 😉

Okay. Let me just say. It rained ALL DAY!
We had just finished up family photos at the church and realized it had cleared up so we HUSTLED outside!
Huge thanks to the bridal party for moving fast and getting these fun shots outside while we could!

Oh yes. Then it started raining again! Gina & Matt were troopers though. 🙂
We got to downtown Downers Grove and even with the rain, Gina & Matt hopped out of the trolley, umbrellas in hand and we headed out!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Blake held my umbrella for me while I shot (Thanks!) and we got some cute shots!

It was raining. It was 38 degrees out.
This couple = Champ Status!

We were headed back to the trolley when we walked past this wall. I couldn’t help myself, it looked perfect!

So after we got shots of Gina & Matt, we had the guys come out too. 🙂
Then it stopped raining for a few minutes! I was so grateful.

Gina & Matt, thank you so much for being flexible and game for anything. I know we had some last minute changes with the weather, but I love what we got and I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to navigate the day with. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek and can’t wait to share more with you in the coming weeks!
