Alaina & Mason had the most gorgeous wedding day this weekend that Cassie was thrilled to document! The summer light was perfect and the warmth that radiated off of them & their family was like sunshine 🙂 Alaina & Mason, thank you so much for having the RWP team to photograph your love story, it was the greatest joy to celebrate you! Before we jump into the dreamy photos, here are 3 highlights of the day from Cassie:

1. Getting in the Dress
One of the most unique and breathtaking moments of Alaina & Mason’s wedding was when Alaina got into her dress. Usually, we plan for brides to get dressed in the bridal suite or a private room with good light. However, after walking through the ceremony site, I knew it would be the perfect place. The florals, sheer fabrics draped from the ceilings, and the gorgeous natural light created an ethereal setting. Alaina stood in the midst of this beautifully decorated space, her joy and anticipation evident as she stepped into her stunning gown. The backdrop was nothing short of magical, and it added an extra layer of beauty and significance to an already special moment.

2. Child Dedication
One of the most heartfelt moments of the day was the dedication of Mason’s 18-month-old son, Koa, to the Lord during the ceremony. This touching moment underscored the deep sense of family and faith that characterized Alaina & Mason’s wedding. Surrounded by their loved ones, Mason and Alaina made a commitment to nurture Koa’s spiritual growth and guide him in his faith journey. The emotion in the air was palpable, and capturing the tender interactions between Koa and his parents was incredibly moving. This dedication added a profound layer of meaning to the ceremony, emphasizing the strong bonds of love, family, and faith.

3. Costume Change
Just before the first dance, Alaina quietly stepped out and changed into a gorgeous, simple tea-length wedding dress. This unexpected wardrobe change was a delightful surprise for everyone, adding a touch of elegance and charm to the evening. After their first dance, Mason threw Alaina over his shoulder and ran out of the reception space, eliciting laughter and cheers from the guests. It was clear he loved the new dress as much as everyone else did. Capturing this playful and spontaneous moment was a highlight of the night, adding a joyful and whimsical touch to the celebration.
