Wedding: Meet Our Associate Photographer Natalie

As Rachael Watson Photography has grown, so has our team and I absolutely love it! Natalie started shooting weddings in 2013 and joined the team at RWP the summer of 2015. Needless to say, we think she is pretty awesome.

Natalie has been an integral part of the team shooting a third of our weddings with myself over the past twelve months. Since starting she has also continued to shoot as lead photographer at her own weddings and ours. While she may be a Nikon girl, -I personally love Canon- we’re excited to have her as part of our team. 🙂

 

Meet Natalie…

Wedding Photographer Since: 2013
First Camera: Point and shoot Sony!
Favorite Wedding Moment: The first look with the Bride & Groom for sure!

Hobbies: Photographing concerts, playing guitar and going to musicals.
Favorite Book: Perks of Being a Wallflower
Music: Don’t make me choose! I love it ALL! Joe Pug, current artist crush.
Favorite Food: Indonesian, if you ever get the chance to try it, you WON’T be disappointed!

What I’ve Learned Shooting Weddings: Don’t be afraid to encourage couples to go a little outside of their comfort zone for a shot idea. They usually end up being the couple’s favorite shots!

What Keeps Me Coming Back: The energy. I’m always smiling, I love getting to be with people on the happiest day of their lives and I love capturing their wedding moments.
