Wedding Wednesday: The Super Windy Wedding!

One of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer is that no two weddings are the same. Even if I’m shooting a location I’ve shot before, the weather, the bridal party, the couple, what the couple would like… it’s all different! It keeps me on my toes and keeps things challenging which I love. 🙂

Samantha & John’s wedding was just over in St. Charles at Pheasant Run. While I’ve shot over 120 weddings, this was my first time shooting there and it was beautiful. 🙂 I think one of my favorite parts of the day was during the ceremony. At their engagement session, Samantha & John, laughed, listened to music throughout the whole session and were just goofy with each other. The same was true of their wedding day, but during the ceremony I got to see a different side of them. Their love for each other runs deep. When they saw each other for the first time during their ceremony… well, you’ll see. 😉 Check out their sneak peek below!
