A Spring Wedding at Cantigny: Andrea & Nate

Wedding

Andrea & Nate truly had an incredible wedding day this past weekend. From getting ready in the morning to photos of the guys at the Cantigny tanks.

Their whole day was full of joy and anticipation. 🙂 There were a few moments that really stuck out to me though. With that in mind, here are the Top Five Unique Moments/Things that happened at Andrea & Nate’s wedding… A Wedding Wednesday Tradition.

#5. The head table. While there are so many different ways you can do the head table; sweetheart table, kings table, traditional or farm table to name a few, Andrea & Nate choose to do something different with the people they included.

Sitting up front with Andrea & Nate were their parents, best man and maid of honor. Totally unique and truly shows the special relationships they have with their parents. 🙂

#4. Andrea’s wedding dress! Wowza! I have never seen another dress like it and I LOVED it! I don’t want to give too much away though. You’ll have to scroll to see what I mean. 😉

#3. The wedding guests, specifically, Andrea’s Grandma. 🙂 After an unexpected health issue, they weren’t sure if or when Grandma would make it to their wedding. Everything came together though and Grandma got to be their for both the ceremony and reception, definitely a blessing. 🙂

#2. The good news Dad came out to share with the Bridesmaids before the ceremony. 🙂 Y’all. The weather did not look good. It was actually raining while we took Groomsmen photos and it had just started to clear up when we started Bridesmaid photos. However, this window was small. There was a 90% chance of rain at 5:00 PM, the start of the couples ceremony…

However, just as we were starting to wrap up Bridesmaid photos, Andrea’s Dad walked out with the good news. The rain had cleared! We all celebrated. 🙂 I later heard that at least one of the Bridesmaids had prayed over it and the Lord totally answered!

#1. The couples first look. 🙂 I mean, it’s a really hard moment to beat. Family was seated, the bridal party was in their places and the music changed. Guests rose to their feet and the look on Nate’s face when he saw Andrea for the first time… priceless. 🙂

Andrea & Nate, thank you so much for having us as your wedding photography team. 🙂 Y’all are truly the best and I’m wishing you all the best as you start this next chapter as husband and wife.
