Engagement by Cassie at St James Farm- Katie & Brad

Katie and Brad’s love story blossomed from a deep friendship that began during their freshman year at ISU and lasted for nearly a decade. Everything shifted for Brad one night when he noticed that special sparkle in Katie’s eyes — a moment he would later cherish. It wasn’t long after that Brad finally mustered the courage to ask her out on a date. Though Katie assumed it may be just another hangout, her sister encouraged her to dress up a bit, leading to a delightful evening at Lock & Mule where their chemistry ignited like never before.

Brad planned his proposal during their first family trip together to the UP in Wisconsin, perfectly timed with a captivating supermoon. While Katie was inside, Brad enlisted his aunt and uncle’s help to set the stage. When Brad joined her outside by the bonfire, he looked nervous! With a shaky knee on the ground, he asked her to marry him — beautiful grandma’s ring in hand. Katie, in her pajamas and utterly surprised, felt it was the most perfect proposal, just like their love story.
