Spring Engagement at ​Blackwell Forest Preserve- Megan & Joe

Megan and Joe’s love story is one for the ages!

They started their journey together as teenagers working at Family Pride, where a simple introduction by Megan’s sister blossomed into a beautiful friendship. Little did they know, this bond would evolve into something much deeper.

After dating, being long distance friends during college, and reuniting, their connection grew even stronger, proving that true love always finds a way.

Fast forward to July 3, 2024—a day filled with anticipation.

As they arrived at Joe’s brother’s home in Michigan, Megan could feel the excitement in the air (Joe was especially fidgety!). When he asked Megan to help him pack the cooler, it seemed innocent enough. But then came the moment that took everyone’s breath away!

Under a serene canopy of trees, Joe popped the question. It was pure joy that lit up their faces and truly an unforgettable moment made even more special, with a surprise lunch with Megan’s parents. Truly the cherry on top of a perfect proposal weekend.
