Spring Engagement at ​The Rookery- April & Tate

April and Tate’s love story began in the halls of Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. April was in her final stretch of junior year while Tate was flourishing as a sophomore. Their connection sparked in two classes: Research Methods and Criminal Justice. What started as a simple study session for a final exam at the library quickly turned into an unforgettable eight-hour hangout, filled with laughter and deep conversations.

Fast forward to August 10, 2024, when Tate expertly planned a romantic proposal in April’s hometown of Plainfield at Settlers Park. With the assistance of April’s sister, he created the perfect setting. As April approached, guided by her mom, she spotted Tate sitting on a rock, a stunning view behind him. The intimate setup featured a picnic basket, champagne, and cherished photos of the couple. Unbeknownst to April, there was even a photographer was nearby, capturing the heartwarming moment as Tate asked April to spend forever with him.
