Morgan & Carter tied the knot this past weekend, and it was truly the perfect day. The weather was beautiful, the venue (a bucket list location for me!) was absolutely stunning, and their bridal party? Just the best.
While there were so many meaningful and joyful moments, I wanted to share just three of my favorites—because what’s Wedding Wednesday without a little highlight reel?
#3 – A Flower Girl First Look
Little Molly’s reaction to seeing Morgan for the first time was straight out of a storybook. Surrounded by bridesmaids, Morgan knelt down to Molly’s level—and Molly immediately ran into her arms with the biggest hug. It was such a tender, genuine moment, and I’m so thankful we got to capture it.
#2 – A Cake Cutting Surprise
After the cake was cut, there was a brief moment of “what now?” when no plate or forks could be found. Without missing a beat, Carter took a giant bite right out of the cake! It was totally unexpected, hilarious, and such a hit with the guests.
#1 – A Magical Lantern Exit
Instead of the usual sparklers or glow sticks, Morgan & Carter chose paper lanterns for their grand exit—and I have to say, these may be some of my favorite exit photos ever. With the venue softly lit in the background and the couple surrounded by their closest family and friends, the final shot is pure magic.
