An Associate Wedding at Pazzo’s by Cassie- Valerie & Bryce

From the moment I first heard about Valerie & Bryce’s wedding day plans, I knew it was going to be something special—and it did not disappoint! Every detail of their day, from meaningful family traditions to heartfelt surprises, came together for an unforgettable celebration at Pazzo’s 311 in Chicago. Our RWP Associate Photographer, Cassie, had the honor of capturing it all, and she shared a few of her favorite moments with me:

1. A Father’s Wedding Day Tradition
Valerie’s dad walked her down the aisle wearing the exact same suit he wore on his own wedding day—a beautiful tradition rooted in their heritage. During his toast, he joked about how much bike riding he did in the months leading up to the wedding—but honestly, it paid off! He looked fantastic, and knowing the significance behind that suit made the moment even more meaningful. It was such a sweet reminder of legacy, love, and the deep bond between father and daughter.

2. A Labor of Love from the Bride’s Mom
Every single dessert at the wedding—including the entire wedding cake—was lovingly handmade by Valerie’s mom. But it didn’t stop there—she also grew many of the flowers used in the table centerpieces and bouquets in her own garden. Every little detail had her heart and hands behind it, and you could feel the care and thoughtfulness in every corner of the celebration. It added such warmth and beauty to the day.

3. The Most Stunning Double First Look
Their first look at Pazzo’s was absolutely breathtaking. The venue has a second-floor mezzanine that wraps around the entire space, with an open center that looks down to the floor below. We were all up above—Valerie and Bryce on one side, and I was directly across from them on the other. That setup gave me the perfect angle to capture Valerie walking toward him, framed by marble columns and glowing light. And sweet Bryce… he completely lost it in the most beautiful way. And then? He lost it again when she walked down the aisle. Two emotional first looks—both unforgettable.
