Lily & Peyton got married this past weekend at The Hyatt Lodge and it was TRULY a stunning day! When I asked Cassie about some of the wedding day highlights, here is what she had to share…
1. Champagne Pop at Lily’s Mom’s House
Lily and her bridesmaids popped champagne at her mom’s house before getting dressed, and it was so much fun! But what made it even more special were the hand-painted bottles—her mom had decorated them just for the day, and they were almost too pretty to open. Normally I tell brides to grab the cheapest bottle they can find since it’s just for the spray shot, so when Lily said we could actually use one of the pretty ones, I was definitely hesitant… but she reassured me her mom made a bunch and wanted us to use it. It was such a sweet, personal touch—and made for an epic photo!
2. First Look with Her Dad
This was one of the most emotional parts of the day—everyone was tearing up (myself included!). We did the first look in the courtyard outside the Grand Pavilion at the Hyatt Lodge, and the lighting was absolutely perfect. Her dad’s reaction was so tender and genuine. It was such a beautiful, intimate moment.
3. Reception Styling
The reception was stunning! Lily and Peyton had patterned tablecloths with gold-beaded chargers and soft steely blue napkins that complemented the florals so beautifully. Their floral palette was full of springtime color—peonies, ranunculus, roses in shades of pink, blush, coral, and yellow—all set against those soft blues. It looked like a spring dream come to life!
