Spring Wedding at Shannon Hall by Cassie- Elise & Joe

Associates

Elise & Joe got married this past weekend and I couldn’t be more excited about the shots Cassie and the RWP Team got! When I asked Cassie 3 of her favorite moments from the day, here is what she had to say…

1. Their Private Vows During the First Look
Elise and Joe chose to read their vows privately during their first look, and it was one of the most emotional and heartfelt moments of the entire day. They took their time — no rush, no audience — just the two of them, holding hands, wiping tears, and sharing promises they’ve carried in their hearts for years. It was quiet, intimate, and completely beautiful. A true reminder of what the day was all about.

2. Portraits at Cantigny Park
Cantigny Park was the perfect backdrop for Elise and Joe’s portraits — full of blooming gardens, winding paths, and soft pockets of light that made everything feel calm and romantic. These two were so natural together, completely wrapped up in each other, which made capturing their love feel effortless. I have so many favorites from this part of the day — every single frame feels like it belongs in a storybook.

3. Sparkler Send-Off & a Movie-Worthy Exit
Right before the sparkler send-off, Elise changed into a crisp white linen pant suit — and I immediately thought of Father of the Bride! When I mentioned it, she lit up and said she loved that movie. It felt so fitting — timeless, elegant, and effortlessly cool. While guests gathered outside with sparklers, Elise and Joe shared one final private dance, just the two of them, soaking in the end of an unforgettable day. Then they ran through the sparkler tunnel, nailed a perfect dip kiss, and drove off in their Jeep into the night. It truly felt like a scene from a classic rom-com!
