A Summer Wedding at Cantigny- Paige & Andrew

From the moment I arrived at Cantigny Park, I knew Paige & Andrew’s wedding was going to be one for the books. The joy, the anticipation, and the love between them—it all set the tone for such a beautiful celebration. While there are so many moments I loved, here are three that stood out to me most from their wedding day:

#3. The Anniversary Dance
This was such a heartfelt part of the evening! Watching couples slowly leave the dance floor until only Andrew’s parents remained was so touching. When the DJ, Nick, invited them to share advice for the newlyweds, their words were filled with love and wisdom—don’t go to bed angry and don’t let family interfere. As they put it, Paige & Andrew are building something brand new together, and they’re cheering them on every step of the way. Such a meaningful moment.

#2. Paige’s First Look with Her Dad
This moment gave me chills. First looks are always emotional, but the joy and pride on Paige’s dad’s face when he turned around and saw her? It was unforgettable. I’m so glad we carved out a few extra minutes for this—it was absolutely worth it. His eyes lit up the second he saw her, and I know this is a memory they’ll both hold onto forever.

#1. Golden Hour Photos at Cantigny Golf
Hands down, some of my favorite photos from the entire day. We snuck away with Paige & Andrew during golden hour to explore a new spot on the golf course, and the light was just magic. These two were so relaxed and joyful—it was the perfect little escape to soak in a moment together and get some of my favorite portraits of the whole day. Just wait until you see them. Truly, Cantigny Golf did not disappoint!

There are so many other parts of this day that I loved—Paige popping champagne with her bridesmaids in the morning (she nailed it!), their perfect ceremony exit with a kiss down the aisle, and the way the rain held off just long enough for all the key moments. The only rain we saw was a quick 3-minute shower while we were under the awning by the mansion pillars. Perfect timing? I think so!

Paige & Andrew, thank you so much for having me along to capture your day. It was such a joy to witness this new chapter begin, and I loved every minute of it. : )
