An Associate Wedding at Cantigny by Cassie- Taylor & Zach

Taylor & Zach’s wedding day at Cantigny Park was beautifully documented by RWP Associate, Cassie. From heartfelt moments to unforgettable celebrations, the day overflowed with joy. Here are a few of Cassie’s favorite memories.

#3- A Ceremony Saved by Love
The ceremony was originally planned for the East Lawn at Cantigny, but just as guests were being seated, a storm rolled in out of nowhere. With quick thinking, the team moved everything into Le Jardin—yes, the reception space that was already perfectly set up! What could have been a stressful situation turned into something so beautiful. Everyone—parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends—jumped in to help rearrange the room and create an aisle for Taylor to walk down. It honestly brought me to tears to see so much love and support in action. That Mr. Rogers quote about “looking for the helpers”? That was this moment, and it couldn’t have been more fitting.

#2- The Groom’s Mom’s Speech
I know it might sound unusual to have a speech make the highlight reel, but Zach’s mom, Lori, delivered one for the books. She had the room laughing, cheering, and tearing up all at once. It was heartfelt, hilarious, and truly unforgettable!

#1- Flippy Cup Showdown
Later in the night, the reception turned into the ultimate flippy cup face-off: The Red Birds (the couple’s college mascot) versus everyone else. The energy, competitiveness, and laughter from that game were unmatched—it was the perfect reflection of how fun and spirited this group was all night long.
