A Summer Engagement at ​Fox River Forest Preserve- Marianna & Justyn

I’m so excited to share a beautiful engagement session from last week! We did Marianna & Justyn’s engagement session at the Fox River Forest Preserve, a new location to me and one I’m SO GLAD I got to explore! The wildflowers, the marina- perfect setting for this session. : )

Marianna and Justyn’s story is truly special. They met through mutual friends and had known each other for seven years before fate brought them together. Once the timing was right, their relationship blossomed into something beautiful that has continued to grow ever since.

When I asked Marianna about the proposal, she shared one of those sweet stories that I just love to hear. They had both known they wanted to get married and were already scouting venues together. Little did Marianna know, Justyn had been quietly coordinating with her family and the venue owner to plan a surprise proposal during their visit to book the place. Justyn popped the question that very weekend, setting their wedding date for August 16, 2025!
