A Summer Engagement Session at Blackwell Forest Preserve- Julia & Sam

This past week, I had the sweetest time with Julia & Sam at Blackwell Forest Preserve. The evening was golden, the fall colors just starting to peek through, and these two were so fun to photograph!

Julia & Sam’s story goes all the way back to high school. They were friends who couldn’t quite hide the spark between them, and one night at Julia’s graduation party, everything changed—she kissed him, and from that moment on, they’ve been together. Over the years they’ve built such a strong relationship, balancing very different day-to-day lives—Julia as a pediatric nurse and Sam in the business world. In May of this year, Sam asked Julia to be his forever, and she said yes! They’ve already made a home together and are counting down to the next chapter as husband and wife.
