An Associate Wedding by Cassie at The Farmhouse Plainfield- Brittany & Hobie

What a beautiful wedding day! Brittany & Hobie’s celebration at The Farmhouse was nothing short of stunning, and I’m so excited to share just a few of Cassie’s favorite moments from their day with you.

#1. Marv, the Dog
Every wedding is unique, but it’s often the personal touches that make the day unforgettable. For Brittany and Hobie, that meant including their beloved dog, Marv, in the celebration. He spent the morning with the girls in the getting ready suite at The Farmhouse, happy to be part of the excitement. They even had a dedicated dog nanny for the day (brilliant!), which allowed Marv to join in portraits before heading home to rest. What touched me most, though, was how they honored their other pup who had passed—his photo was featured on the seating chart tables, and both dogs’ faces appeared on custom drink stirrers. It was such a heartfelt way to weave their story into the day.

#2. Portraits at The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a stunning venue with endless opportunities for portraits. Between the architecture, the grounds, and that gorgeous light, it truly offers the perfect canvas. Brittany and Hobie’s trust gave me so much freedom to create, and I’m absolutely thrilled with what we captured. Their portraits are elegant, timeless, and yet full of joy—the kind of images that will never go out of style.

#3. Dinner by The Phoenix Kitchen
Dinner was an absolute experience. The Phoenix Kitchen, a highly regarded restaurant in Homer Glen, catered the evening—and this was their very first time offering catering outside of their restaurant. The chef personally introduced the menu, which included beautifully prepared beef tenderloin, chicken, pasta, whipped potatoes, and fresh seasonal vegetables. Every course was exquisite. It was not only delicious, but also such a thoughtful and memorable part of the evening.
