An Associate Wedding by Erin at Cantigny- Janelle & Jack

This past Friday was such a beautiful day celebrating Janelle & Jack’s wedding at Cantigny Park! Erin photographed their day, and she shared three favorite moments that perfectly capture the joy, love, and excitement of this incredible celebration.

From heartfelt moments at during the ceremony to unforgettable portraits in the gardens at Cantigny, every detail reflected the couple’s vision and the love surrounding them.

#3. The sparkler exit!
This was a grand one! Tons of guests lined up with sparklers in hand, lighting up the night as Janelle & Jack made their way through. The energy was absolutely incredible– laughter, cheers, and so much joy as the couple ended their day surrounded by love. It was such a fun and unforgettable way to close out their celebration!

#2. A very sweet ceremony by the pastor Janelle grew up with.
He mentioned knowing Janelle since she was young, which made the entire ceremony feel even more personal and heartfelt. Hearing him reflect on her journey while officiating such an important moment was incredibly sincere, and it brought a special layer of meaning to their ceremony in the Rose Garden.

#1. First look by the East Lawn!
The bride had a vision and we were so excited to follow that and do it and portraits over there! Cantigny has this way about it, a peaceful setting created the perfect backdrop, and the moment Janelle & Jack saw each other was full of emotion. Their portrait from this spot are absolutely stunning and truly reflect the joy of their day!
