An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Cantigny Park- Junilane & Alex

There’s something so magical about Cantigny Park — but in September, it just hits different! The warm light, lush gardens, and quiet pathways make it one of our favorite spots for engagement photos. Cassie loved getting to explore the park with Junilane & Alex for their engagement session and capture such a joyful season for them.

Junilane & Alex first met in college when they lived in the same dorm and had similar morning schedules. Breakfast became their daily ritual, and it wasn’t long before they became close friends — and eventually, something more.

Their engagement story is just as sweet! During a weekend getaway to Milwaukee, they were walking along the riverwalk when Alex told Junilane he needed to “tie his shoes.” When she looked down, he was on one knee with the ring in hand! It was the perfect surprise and, thanks to the unusually warm December night, they were able to stroll, take it all in, and celebrate together.
