A Fall Engagement at Anderson Japanese Gardens- Kaela & Eric

There’s something magical about fall sessions at Anderson Japanese Gardens — the golden light, the peaceful water, and the way it all seems to slow time down for just a moment. Meeting up with Kaela & Eric for their October engagement session was such a joy! These two share such an easy connection, and from the moment they arrived, I could tell this was going to be a fun session.

Kaela & Eric’s story began back in college at Illinois State University, where they were both music education majors. They met in a single reeds class (how cute is that?) and quickly became friends. Before long, that friendship turned into something more, and the rest is history.

When they’re not teaching music or running band programs, these two love spending time together watching movies (Eric’s a big Marvel and DC fan!), collecting Star Wars memorabilia, building Lego sets, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and most recently — learning pickleball!

Kaela & Eric, thank you so much for having me capture this special season for you both. Your joy is contagious, and I loved every minute of your session.
