A Fall Engagement at Cantigny- Katie & Johnny

Katie and Johnny are the kind of couple who make photographing love look effortless! Their laughter came easily, their connection was genuine, and exploring Cantigny Park together during their fall engagement session was such a joy.

These two first met in 2023 through Hinge — though Katie admits she may have had a very specific “older men” age filter in place! After just an hour on the app, she swiped on Johnny, and soon after they shared their first date over ice cream at Triple Scoop in Park Ridge.

Fast forward to August 1st, fittingly National Girlfriend Day, when Johnny surprised Katie with the sweetest scavenger hunt through Chicago. Each stop represented a memory from their relationship, ending at Dominican University, where he got down on one knee surrounded by the glow of the campus quad. The perfect full-circle moment? Ending their engagement night right back at Triple Scoop.
