An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Lincoln Park & North Avenue Beach- Kassy & Alex

I’m so excited to share a peek into Kassy & Alex’s engagement session in Chicago! Cassie photographed their session at Lincoln Park and North Avenue Beach, and it was the perfect mix of city charm and lakefront views.

These two first met in college—Kassy always says that Alex was the very first boy she met on campus. At the time, she wasn’t looking for a boyfriend, but Alex pursued her wholeheartedly, and thank goodness he did! Their love story has been growing ever since.

When it came time for the proposal, Alex planned something incredibly meaningful. He asked Kassy to marry him at the top of the John Hancock—a place with deep ties to her late father, who used to take her there often. It was the most thoughtful way to honor her dad while starting this new chapter together, and Kassy describes it as “so, so special.”

When I asked what they are most looking forward to in marriage, they told me: “The commitment and being able to spend our life together. It’s officially official!!!” How sweet is that?
