65 degrees in March for April & Tate’s wedding day?! Truly unheard of, and we soaked up every second of it. From quiet moments outside the church to golden light at BRIX on the Fox, the sunshine gave us space to run around, soak it all in, and create some seriously beautiful images along the way. : )
But more than anything, this day marked something really special for me… my first wedding of 2026. And getting to step back into what I love most, with an incredible couple like April & Tate, felt like the sweetest way to begin a new season. : )
While I had so many favorite parts of the day, here are the first three that come to mind… a little Wedding Wednesday tradition.
#3. A Sweet First Look with Dad & Brother
While April & Tate chose to save their first look for the aisle, April shared a really special moment with both her dad and her brother beforehand. It was one of those pauses in the day that just felt full of love. I’m so glad we got to capture it. : )
#2. A Dance Floor Surprise
DJ Don Carlo brought out a CO2 cannon for April & Tate, and it was completely unexpected in the best way. The dance floor was already packed, but this took the energy to a whole new level. Such a fun moment that everyone will remember!
#1. The Couple’s First Dance
April & Tate’s first dance was absolutely beautiful. Perfectly choreographed, but still felt so natural and full of joy. These two truly shined the entire time and guests soaked in every moment. : )
April & Tate, thank you so much for inviting me into a day that felt this meaningful, this joyful, and this you. It was truly an honor to capture it all.
Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
