A Spring Wedding at Riverside Receptions- Sam & Frank

Getting to photograph Sam & Frank’s wedding this past Saturday was truly special. The day was beautiful, and from the moment I arrived, you could just feel the energy and excitement for everything ahead. It was one of those days where every moment felt full, meaningful, and just so much fun to be a part of. While there were so many incredible parts of their day, here are the first three that come to mind… a little Wedding Wednesday tradition. : )

#3. The Cannoli Boys!
This was a surprise for all of the guests, and it did not disappoint. Around 9:15, the music dropped and these brothers came rushing in with fresh cannolis for everyone. It was awesome! They brought so much energy to the dance floor as they danced around and served guests. Truly unforgettable and 10/10 recommend!

#2. The Father of the Bride Speech
Jim absolutely knocked it out of the park. He shared heartfelt stories, honored Sam & Frank so beautifully, and had the entire room hanging on every word. But the ending was next level. He had his daughters and their husbands stand up, pulled out $5,000, and offered it to whoever made him a grandpa first. The room erupted and it was such a fun, joy-filled moment no one will forget!

#1. The First Dance
You could tell Sam & Frank had put so much time into practicing their first dance, and it paid off. Frank was a little nervous about the lift with Sam’s dress having so many layers, but Sam had a plan. Before the reception, she did a second first look and revealed that her dress had TWO looks! With the change, the lift was seamless and they absolutely nailed it. Such a fun and intentional moment!

Sam & Frank, thank you so much for having me. Your day was truly beautiful, and I’m just so grateful I got to be there to capture it.
