Natalie & Nick’s story began years ago in their college-town orbit, but it wasn’t until three years ago that their timing finally aligned in the sweetest way. Since then, their relationship has been filled with adventure, deep love, and the kind of connection that just feels effortless.

From their first Bonnaroo Music Festival together, where they realized they could take on anything side by side, to Nick’s thoughtful Costa Rica beach proposal just before Natalie’s 30th Birthday, their journey has been equal parts meaningful and unforgettable.

Their engagement session in Lincoln Park and North Avenue Beach was the perfect reflection of who they are… joyful, laid-back, full of laughter, and completely in sync. Despite rain threatening to steal the show, the skies cleared just in time, giving us the dreamiest Chicago backdrop for a session that felt every bit as fun as their story. Between their shared love of music, effortless laughter, and the excitement of this sweet season, their session felt every bit as fun, meaningful, and magical as their story itself.
