A Spring Wedding at Ravisloe Country Club- Lindsay & Mike

Lindsay & Mike’s wedding day at Ravisloe Country Club was filled with so much joy, laughter, and genuinely sweet moments from beginning to end. From an emotional first look with Lindsay’s Dad to genuine laughter while the guys took turns in the golf simulator, their entire day felt joyful from beginning to end. These two are surrounded by so much love, and it was such an honor to capture all the excitement of their wedding day.

While there were so many memorable moments, here are three of the more unique things that come to mind…

#3. The reception awards ceremony!
Okay… this was SO fun. The guys had golfed the day before the wedding, so naturally the reception opened with a full awards presentation complete with trophies and prizes. Closest to the pin, longest drive, best team score… all the important categories. And the team that took home the overall win? The Grooms. : )

#2. Their stunning outdoor ceremony at Ravisloe Country Club.
Truly, there’s not another venue quite like Ravisloe Country Club in the Chicagoland area. The historic architecture and beautiful grounds made the perfect backdrop for Lindsay & Mikey to officially become husband and wife. And the second Mikey saw Lindsay walking down the aisle… his face said everything.

#1. Portraits around Ravisloe… especially the swing.
We were actually heading back inside after portraits when Mikey spotted the swing tucked away on the property. Naturally, we ran over for “just a few more photos,” and I am SO glad we did. Some of my favorite portraits from the entire day came from those last few quiet moments together. ✨
