An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Cantigny Park- Julia & Peter

Julia & Peter’s Cantigny Park engagement session was such a fun one! Between the spring greenery, so much laughter, and the sweetest relaxed energy together, Cassie captured this season of their story so beautifully.

These two first met through their high school drama program, where Peter was involved in plays and musicals while Julia worked behind the scenes as stage manager. Their first date was seeing Knives Out together, and over the years, their relationship has been filled with movie nights, fishing trips, video games, and simply enjoying life together.

When it came time to propose, Peter planned the sweetest surprise. After dinner and a trip to the Field Museum, he convinced Julia they were heading to see a greenhouse… except the greenhouse didn’t actually exist. Instead, he brought her to Lilacia Park where he proposed, followed by family and friends waiting nearby to celebrate with them.
