An Associate Wedding by Cassie at Cantigny- Kaylee & Jamie

Kaylee & Jamie’s wedding day at Cantigny was one of those celebrations that felt joyful from beginning to end. Between emotional moments, personal touches woven throughout the day, and a packed dance floor by the end of the night, Cassie captured so many memories that made this wedding uniquely them. It was such an honor getting to celebrate alongside these two and document such a meaningful day. : )

While there were so many beautiful moments throughout their wedding day, here are just three favorites shared by Cassie…

#3. The Friends Grand Entrance
As an original Friends fanatic, (yes, I actually watched it live on Thursday nights, and maybe that dates me a little), I was immediately here for this one. Kaylee & Jamie’s bridal party entered the reception to the Friends theme song, and it was such a fun way to kick off the celebration. It brought so much personality and energy into the room right away!

#2. Kaylee’s First Look with Her Dad
This moment was so incredibly sweet. I knew it would be special, but I was not fully prepared for the tears. The second Kaylee’s dad saw her, the emotion started flowing, and it was one of those moments that made everyone pause. It was tender, genuine, and such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful these little pockets of the day really are.

#1. Jamie’s Recovery
This was hands down one of the most meaningful parts of the entire day. Just two months before the wedding, Jamie had surgery on his spinal cord, and he worked so hard to be at full strength for their wedding day. I was honestly so impressed. Unless you knew what he had gone through, you probably never would have guessed… and by the reception, he was even jumping to Cypress Hill on the dance floor! Seeing him not only present for the day, but fully celebrating it, was incredible. What a gift.

Kaylee & Jamie, thank you both so much for trusting us to capture such an important season in your lives. We loved getting to celebrate alongside you both, and I truly hope you love reliving these moments through your sneak peek images just as much as we loved capturing them. : )
