A Spring Engagement at Lincoln Park & North Avenue Beach- Sarah & Chase

If someone turned Sarah & Chase’s engagement session into a rom-com, I’d absolutely watch it. 🤍

It had all the ingredients: a sweet couple, a walk through some of Chicago’s most iconic locations, plenty of laughter, a little spontaneity, and an ending that involved these two jumping straight into Lake Michigan fully clothed.

From the beautiful stairs at the Chicago History Museum to the skyline views at North Avenue Beach, every part of the evening felt like an adventure. The best part? Sarah & Chase were completely up for it all. Whether we were exploring the city, chasing golden light, or splashing through the water at the very end of the session, they brought so much joy and energy to every moment.

Like so many modern love stories, Sarah and Chase’s story began online. Their first date took them across state lines for Mexican food, followed by a second date at a Bulls game. Somewhere between tacos, basketball, and countless conversations, they found something special.

When it came time to propose, Chase had an incredible plan in place. After renting a vintage-inspired electric boat and spending the day exploring Chicago, he led Sarah to a spot between the Adler Planetarium and Museum Campus. It wasn’t just any location. It was the place where they had taken some of their very first photos together as a couple.

Waiting there was a beautifully planned surprise created with the help of their families, complete with a custom picnic setup, flowers, champagne, a charcuterie board, and thoughtful details personalized just for them. While Sarah had started to grow suspicious thanks to Chase’s unusual behavior throughout the day, the proposal itself was every bit as meaningful and memorable as he had hoped.
