A Spring Wedding at the Hyatt Lodge- Nathalie & Patrick

Thinking back to Nathalie & Patrick’s wedding day at the Hyatt Lodge this past weekend brings back so many sweet memories. After ten years together, this celebration felt like the perfect reflection of their relationship: joyful, relaxed, and deeply rooted in love. From meeting in college, navigating seasons of long distance, and eventually building a life in the same place, their story has been years in the making.

There were so many meaningful moments woven throughout the day. From an accidental first look between Patrick and his Grandpa just moments before the couple’s official first look, to the heartfelt ceremony officiated by their former college RD, every part of the day felt personal and intentional.

While there were countless moments I loved, here are three that especially stood out…

#3. A Beautiful Tribute to Family

As Nathalie walked down the aisle, she carried the wedding bands of both of her grandmothers with her. It was such a meaningful way to honor the women who came before her and keep their memory close on such an important day. A quiet but powerful reminder that every marriage story builds upon the love and legacy of those before us.

#2. The Dress

Can we talk about the dress for a minute?!

The layers, the floral details, the movement, the veil… every element came together so beautifully. It felt like the dress was made for Nathalie. I had so much fun exploring the Hyatt Lodge grounds with Nathalie & Patrick, finding little pockets of light and beautiful backdrops that allowed the dress to truly shine. One of my favorite images from the day is Nathalie running through the trees with her train flowing behind her.

And the golden hour portraits? Absolute photographer dream. 🤍

#1. The Dance Floor Energy

When it was time to celebrate, Nathalie & Patrick were all in.

The dance floor stayed packed all night long, and it was so much fun watching them laugh, dance, and celebrate alongside their favorite people. There is something special about seeing a couple completely present on their wedding day, soaking in every moment and enjoying every second of the celebration. The energy was contagious, and the joy in the room was impossible to miss.
