An Associate Wedding by Cassie at Cantigny- Vallary & David

There is something so special about a wedding day at Cantigny Park, and Vallary & David’s celebration was one of those days that reminded us exactly why we love what we do. Between the beautiful weather, guests who traveled from all over the world, and two people so clearly in love, every part of the day felt joyful from beginning to end.

One of my favorite parts of sharing these Wedding Wednesday sneak peeks is getting to hear what stood out most to our photographers. Cassie captured such a beautiful day, and these were her three favorite moments.

#3. Bride and Groom Portraits Around the McCormick House

Portraits around the McCormick House were an absolute dream. The light was beautiful, the setting was classic Cantigny, and Vallary and David made my job so easy. We were able to get so many gorgeous portraits of the two of them, and Vallary looked completely effortless in front of the camera. They are such a beautiful couple, and this part of the day was such a favorite.

#2. The Special Dance

During the reception, Vallary and her friends surprised everyone with a special choreographed dance, and it was so much fun! The room was cheering them on, and you could feel how much everyone loved watching them perform. It was such a joyful, memorable reception moment and such a fun way to celebrate.

#1. Their First Look

Vallary and David’s first look was so sweet. It was quiet, intimate, and personal… exactly what a first look should be. David’s reaction to seeing Vallary was the cutest, and I loved watching the two of them have that little moment together before the rest of the day began. These two are just adorable together!
