An Associate Wedding by Cassie at Whitetail Ridge Golf Course- Emily & Sam

Emily & Sam’s wedding day at Whitetail Ridge Golf Course was the perfect reminder that sometimes the best wedding days are the ones that keep everyone guessing. Last Saturday, these two celebrated alongside their family and friends with a day that was full of laughter, meaningful moments, and so many thoughtful details that made their celebration uniquely theirs.

Here are Cassie’s three favorite things from Emily & Sam’s wedding:

#3. Rainbow Cone

Rainbow Cone ice cream was such a fun reception surprise! It was colorful, nostalgic, and such a sweet treat for their guests. I loved that Emily and Sam included something so playful in the celebration, and paired with late-night tacos at the end of the night, it made the reception feel even more fun and memorable.

#2. The Personal Touches

Emily and Sam’s day felt so true to them. From the Chicago Bears nods to the way they included their daughter throughout the celebration, every part of the day felt personal and full of joy. I loved seeing the three of them celebrate together, and it made their wedding feel so warm, fun, and family-centered.

#1. The Weather

The weather was definitely keeping everyone on their toes! It was looking a little iffy, so the ceremony was moved up just a bit to help stay ahead of the rain. And it worked out beautifully! The rain held off, Emily and Sam were able to have their outdoor ceremony, and we even ended the evening with the most beautiful sunset for portraits. It was such a gift!

Emily & Sam, thank you so much for inviting our team to celebrate alongside you on such a special day. It was a joy to watch your family begin this new chapter together, and we are so grateful Cassie could be there to capture every moment.
