A Summer Engagement at Cantigny Park- Mary & Wyatt

Engagement

There is something really special about couples whose relationship is built on friendship first, and that is exactly what I loved hearing about Mary and Wyatt.

The two met through a student organization at Illinois State University, where they spent about a year as friends before they started dating. Six years later, after countless memories together (including late-night walks across the ISU quad), Wyatt brought their story full circle by proposing in the very place where it all began. While Mary was in town for a career fair, the two turned it into a weekend away, and on their walk across campus before dinner, Wyatt asked her to marry him.

I had so much fun exploring Cantigny Park with these two during their engagement session. Between the gardens, beautiful summer light, and the excitement of moving into their new home together, it was such a sweet season to capture.

Mary & Wyatt, thank you so much for inviting me to celebrate this chapter with you. I absolutely loved spending the evening with you both and cannot wait for your wedding day!

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!

Mary & Wyatt, thank you again for trusting me to capture such an exciting season of your lives. It was so much fun getting to know you both, and we cannot wait to celebrate alongside you on your wedding day and share all of the memories you’ll create together!

Much Love,
