A Summer Engagement at Wrigley Field & North Ave Beach- Emily & Pete

Some love stories are deeply connected to a place, and for Emily & Pete, that place is Chicago.

We spent the morning exploring some of the places that have become part of their story, starting at North Avenue Beach before making our way to Wrigley Field and ending our session at Murphy’s. Between the lakefront views, the excitement around Wrigley, and plenty of laughs along the way, it was such a fun morning together!

After college, they both landed jobs in the Chicagoland area and officially started dating after spending a summer keeping in touch. Over the past five years, they’ve made countless memories together exploring the city, from Cubs games and neighborhood festivals to trying new restaurants and keeping up their annual tradition of visiting the Lincoln Park Greek Fest.

When Pete decided it was time to propose, he planned the sweetest surprise during one of their monthly date nights at the beautiful Three Arts Club Café. Even Emily’s nail color had secretly been coordinated weeks in advance! After she said “yes,” both of their families were waiting to celebrate, making an unforgettable day even more special.

Emily & Pete, thank you so much for inviting me to capture this exciting season of your lives! It was such a joy exploring two places that have meant so much throughout your relationship, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you again on your wedding day.
