There is just something so fun about slowing down and spending a morning exploring downtown Chicago with two people who are completely excited about the season they’re in.
Jess and Dylan’s story almost didn’t happen thanks to one tiny mistake. After meeting online, they accidentally exchanged the wrong phone number, leaving each of them wondering why the other never reached out! Thankfully, they figured it out, and after Dylan planned their first date around Michigan State University, they quickly became inseparable.
When it came time to propose, Dylan surprised Jess during a weekend getaway to Bar Harbor, Maine. With the breathtaking coastline of Acadia National Park as the backdrop, he asked her to spend forever with him.
For their engagement session, we wandered through some of my favorite corners of downtown Chicago, starting at the Wrigley Building, making our way to Milton Lee Olive Park, and finishing the morning with lunch at Orso’s Restaurant. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a morning spent exploring the city together, and I absolutely loved it.
Jess & Dylan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this sweet season of your lives. It was such a joy spending the morning with you both, and I cannot wait for your wedding day!
Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!
Jess & Dylan, thank you again for such a fun morning exploring Chicago together! It was such a joy getting to celebrate this season with you both, and I already know your wedding day is going to be incredible. I can’t wait to capture even more memories together soon!
Much Love,
