An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Cantigny Park- Eliza & Jack

There was so much to love about Eliza & Jack’s evening at Cantigny Park! Cassie spent the night wandering the gardens with these two, laughing along the way and capturing so many genuine moments together. They made the whole session feel easy, joyful, and completely natural… exactly what an engagement session should be.

Their story started in the most unexpected way… wearing lab coats at work! Jack kept things casual when he asked Eliza out, hoping to avoid making things awkward if she wasn’t interested. Little did he know, she had been hoping he’d ask. After a scenic first date at Waterfall Glen and an official drive-in movie date featuring Shrek and Despicable Me, the rest was history.

When it came time to propose, Jack planned a weekend getaway to his family’s place on Lake Michigan and secretly arranged for a photographer to meet them at the beach. Eliza had a feeling something was up after being encouraged to dress up for “date night,” and Jack’s determination to arrive by exactly 6:00 PM may have given away the surprise just a little. Spoiler alert, she said yes!
