An Associate Engagement by Cassie at Cantigny Park- Lexi & Mick

There are some engagement sessions that you leave counting down the seconds until you can look at the photos onto your computer… and Lexi & Mick’s was absolutely one of those. Cassie spent a beautiful July evening exploring Cantigny Park with these two, and from the very beginning, their joy, easy laughter, and sweet connection made every moment so much fun to photograph.

Their story began nearly five years ago while attending neighboring colleges in South Bend. After meeting through friends, tacos became the setting for their first date, and the rest is history. Today, they love exploring Chicago together, whether that’s finding a new restaurant, strolling through a farmers market, or simply enjoying a walk together. When it came time to propose, Mick spent months planning every detail, surprising Lexi at Lincoln Park before celebrating with family and friends who had traveled from across the country.
