An Associate Wedding by Cassie at the Hyatt Lodge- Bari & Matt

Bari & Matt are MARRIED! And if there was one thing that stood out about these two, it was how much FUN they had making their wedding day completely their own. From morning walkie-talkie conversations to finding ways to include Charlie throughout the celebration, there were so many little details that felt unmistakably Bari & Matt. Cassie had such a hard time narrowing it down, but here are her Top Three!

#3. Charlie was Part of Everything

Even though their dog Charlie couldn’t physically be there, he was still very much a part of the entire wedding day! He was included in their vows, on their cocktail napkins and bar sign, and even had his own place beside Bari and Matt on top of their wedding cake. Bari’s dad also included him in his speech with a poster of Charlie driving a U-Haul truck. It was such a sweet—and funny—way to make sure this very loved member of their family was included throughout the celebration.

#2. Their Morning Walkie-Talkies

Bari and Matt had walkie-talkies so they could talk to each other throughout the morning without actually seeing one another. It was such a fun and completely adorable way for them to stay connected, tell each other how much they loved each other and share their excitement while still saving that first moment together for the first look.

#1. Their First Look

Instead of having Bari walk up and tap Matt on the shoulder, we took advantage of the long path outside the Grand Oaks Pavilion and did something a little different. Matt waited at the end of the path while Bari walked toward him, and once she was about halfway there, he turned around and saw her. It felt almost like their own private version of walking down the aisle. I could see Bari’s face while Courtney captured Matt’s reaction, and they were both immediately crying, smiling and so excited to finally be together.

Bari & Matt, thank you so much for trusting the RWP Team to capture this incredibly special season for you! We are so grateful Cassie got to celebrate alongside you and document all of the joy, happy tears and little moments that made your wedding day yours.
