A Summer Engagement at Cantigny- Erin & K.C.

Summer sunshine, joyful laughter, and one of my favorite Chicagoland backdrops — Erin & K.C.’s Cantigny Park engagement session was such a treat! This sweet couple’s story began in 2023 when Erin, new to Chicago from Nashville, met K.C. on Hinge. After her University of Dayton friend gave her “friend approval” of his profile, they met for their first date at Sheffield’s on the first warm week of spring. It didn’t take long to realize they had something special — their second date lasted 10 hours!

Fast forward to May 10th of this year, when K.C. planned the sweetest proposal. Under the guise of a “Mother’s Day dinner” with family, he took Erin for a walk in Lincoln Park before leading her to the South Pond. There, surrounded by the beauty of spring, he got down on one knee. The celebration continued at Ranalli’s, where friends, family, and pizza were waiting to toast the happy couple!

Erin & K.C., thank you so much for such a fun evening at Cantigny! Your joy is contagious, and I’m so excited for your wedding at Meson Sabika next June.
