A Fall Wedding at Chicago Marriott Naperville- Courtney & Mark

From the moment I walked into the getting-ready suite, I knew it was going to be such a fun day! Courtney’s bridesmaids were so full of excitement — helping, laughing, and celebrating their girl as she got ready to marry the love of her life. From start to finish, their day was upbeat, heartfelt, and filled with those perfectly “them” moments that make photographing weddings so special.

If I had to narrow it down, here are my top three favorite memories from Courtney & Mark’s wedding day:

#3. The Spartan Medals!
Courtney and Mark are a power couple when it comes to their Spartan runs — something they love doing together! During detail photos in the morning, they brought out their new medals, and I loved pairing them with their wedding rings. It was such a fun, unique touch that felt so perfectly them.

#2. That First Look Moment.
When Courtney walked down the aisle at Saint Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church, Mark’s expression said it all. The joy, the awe, the pure emotion — it was one of those moments I’ll never forget (and one you’ll definitely want to scroll to see!).

#1. The First Dance.
Before their reception kicked off at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, I got to sneak in as Courtney and Mark practiced their first dance one last time. They were a little nervous about their big dip — but when it came time, they absolutely nailed it! I loved capturing both the practice moments and the big finale surrounded by cheers.

Courtney & Mark, thank you so much for having me capture your incredible day. You two were such a joy to photograph, and I loved every minute of it.
