A Fall Wedding at Itasca Country Club- Taylor & Jake

Taylor & Jake’s wedding day was truly one for the books! From the beautiful florals and thoughtful details to the energy surrounding these two all day long, you could just tell how excited they were to finally be getting MARRIED and celebrating with all of their favorite people.

And when I say this crew came ready to celebrate, I mean it. High energy and excitement. All. Day. Long!

There were SO many fun parts of Taylor & Jake’s wedding day, including the sweetest first look with Dad, quite possibly the BEST charcuterie board I’ve ever seen, and some pretty epic night portraits at Itasca Country Club. But when I think back on their day, there are three moments that truly stand out. : )

#3. The Bridal Party’s flip cup entrance!

This crew was ready to celebrate and showed up STRONG with a flip cup entrance! Bridesmaids vs. groomsmen and the competition was fierce. In the end, the groomsmen pulled off the win, but it was a race to the finish and such a fun way to kick off the reception!

#2. The Jersey Theme in the morning!

The ladies had the sweetest custom jerseys from the bride, complete with the year Taylor met each of them on the back! Personal, sweet, and such a fun way to start the morning with some of her favorite people.

#1. The ALMOST first look.

Jake was SO excited to see Taylor for the first time. We took him outside, explained exactly how it would work, brought Taylor out behind him, reminded Jake to wait until she tapped him on the shoulder and then said, “Ready!”

And Jake immediately turned around to see his bride.

It may not have been the “plan,” but it was SO incredibly sweet. I just loved how genuinely excited Jake was to see Taylor. It felt like such a perfect little reflection of the love these two share.

And don’t worry, he turned right back around, so technically they got TWO first looks. ; )

Taylor & Jake, thank you SO much for having us there to capture your wedding day! From your ceremony at St. Walter Catholic Church to one seriously fun celebration at Itasca Country Club, it was such a joy getting to document it all. I’m so grateful we got to celebrate alongside you and preserve all of these memories for you. : )
