Becca & James celebrated their marriage this past weekend and it was truly a whirlwind! From sweet shots with Becca’s bridesmaids in the morning to exploring Cantigny Park together, each part of the day brought something memorable. 🙂

While there were so many fun parts of Becca & Jame’s wedding day, I wanted to share just the first five that come to mind. 🙂

 

#5. The couples unity ceremony during their ceremony. I just loved that it was three pieces to create a heart. It looked beautiful put together and the readings they did with it were the perfect match. 🙂

#4. The best man’s speech. Y’all. Over 230 weddings. I have NEVER seen this. For context. Becca really wanted a nice photo of her, James and the best man. One without “that scraggly beard.” Soooo with that in mind, the Best man, Joseph, closed his speech by shaving his beard! Yes. We have photos and YES! You have to scroll to check them out. 😂

#3. The impromptu tank photo we got with James and some of the other men who served our country. Thank you! I wasn’t sure how it would turn out since it was well past sunset… I love it though!

#2. Getting ready in the morning with Becca. While we had planned to do a first look with Dad, Dad arrived early. I actually think this worked out even better though. Instead of a first look, we got some shots of Dad helping Becca put on some of her jewelry. Super sweet. 🙂

#1. Veil photos! (Of course!) Becca got a stunning cathedral length veil and I’m so glad she did! We got cute shots in the morning and then again with James at Cantigny. Some of my favorite shots of the day. That’s for sure!
