While Sam & Matt were in the same dorm their Freshmen year at U of I, they’re paths really didn’t cross till their Senior year of college. As the two started to spend more time together, they realized there just might be something special between them. : )
The two started to date and this past June, Matt asked the most important question of all while the two were enjoying a walk on the Chicago River.
Sam was SO SURPRISED! While they had looked at rings together, Matt threw her off by telling her he didn’t want to proposed until after another family engagement.
It was the perfect cover. Sam said, “Yes!” and afterward he surprised her by having both families meet them in the West Loop for dinner. : )
