A Spring Wedding at The Morton Arboretum: Courtney & Mick

Wedding

Friends. This was such a FUN WEDDING!!! Truly. I was talking with Courtney & Mick a couple of weeks before their wedding, Spring weddings are just fun. There is new life all around us as we come out of Winter and I feel like my creativity is ready to BURST as we start the new wedding season.

Courtney & Mick’s wedding this past weekend was the best wedding to kick off 2024. : ) From the beautiful sunshine and dreamy veil photos to Courtney & Mick’s sweet Bridal Party. Each part of this couple’s day was so special and I’m just so honored we got to capture it. : )

With that in mind, I wanted to share just three+ of my favorite moments from Courtney & Mick’s wedding day. A Wedding Wednesday tradition!

#3. Courtney & Mick’s wedding ceremony! Especially, when I went into the Bridal room and saw Courtney & her bridesmaids peeking out at the guests before the ceremony. The anticipation and excitement were so evident and I’m so glad I was able to get that shot. : )

Oh! And the framed note from the Pope that Grandma got for Courtney & Mick. You’ll have to scroll to see, and the BAGPIPES that lead Courtney & Mick out of their ceremony!

#2. Capturing the getting ready part of the day with Courtney. The space was beautiful and it was so special to have all the ladies that mean the most to Courtney in the same room. : )

#1. The couple’s first dance. It was so much fun to see the chemistry these two share, and the perfectly executed dip, but I especially loved the moment when Mick’s Mom passed him off to Courtney. Ending the Mother-Son dance and leading into the couple’s dance as husband and wife. : )

Courtney & Mick, thank you so much for having us. : ) Thank you for running around the Morton Arboretum with me to find all the perfect shots and for trusting me to capture your big day. I couldn’t be more grateful and I’m so excited for you two to start this new adventure together!

Now, grab a blanket and snuggle up. Your sneak peek is live!!!
