This was SUCH A FUN SESSION! Mostly because, it wasn’t actually a session. It was a proposal followed by a mini session of sorts. 😀
When Dan first reached out about capturing his proposal to Aimee I was pumped! I could tell how excited he was and I was just as excited. We talked through the plan, re-planned and then we were ready…
On the day of, Blake and I took our positions 20 minutes early. I was so nervous! But probably not as nervous as Dan was. 😉
We wanted to blend in. A little tricky with two cameras and a backpack of lenses, but we grabbed a blanket and snuggled together. We looked like any other couple enjoying the riverwalk on a cold Winter day. …I hoped. 😅
That’s when I saw them. My heart pounded. Dan and I made brief eye contact as they walked by. It was game time!
As soon as their backs were to us, we tossed the blanket covering our cameras to the side and started to shoot. Not 10 seconds later, Dan dropped to one knee…
